1997 ADS National Show Winner! Hambledon, 2 YW-WYY, exhibited by Kirby Fong

Below are the 1997 ADS National Show results. This year's National convention was hosted by the MIssissippi Daffodil Society and held at the The Edison Walthall Hotel, in Jackson, Mississippi. This information is presented in the following format:

  1. the identification of the award;
  2. the name of the cultivar(s);
  3. the division (a number from 1 thru 12) followed by the color of the petals, a dash, and the color of the cup;
  4. the name of the exhibitor.

Some of the daffodils have multiple colored petals and cups, so you will see more than one color identified between the dashes. Some of the daffodils have numbers instead of names because these are newly developed seedlings, and these will have specific identification provided by the hybridizer developing this variety.   For more information about the classification of daffodils see Daffodil Divisions and Varieties.

The bloom of Hambledon was in the English Collection winner, the Moncorvo was in a collection of twelve miniatures, and the set of three seedlings also contained the winner of the Miniature Rose Ribbon.
